Local Day Tours from Wicklow and Dublin 

While we've all been hoping for a great summer with reduced covid restrictions, have you still wondered what the best way to get together and spend time with friends and family is?

 

Well, you can meet with friends, have great craic and give a huge helping hand to our local tourism industry by joining us for a coach day tour of the locality, designed especially for locals!

We're getting ready to launch our day tours by coach soon. These will include trips to local attractions as well as tours to sample the delicious creations from some local drink producers. No doubt you'll find your new favourite tipple and be glad that we're on driving duty to these fine breweries and distilleries.

As an example of a tour we operated in summer 2020/2021, please see the details below. 

 

 

Call up your friends and relatives and jump aboard our adult-only tour to the Garden County of Wicklow. We'll do the driving allowing you the freedom to relax and enjoy a few samples on the premium tours of Wicklow Brewery and Powerscourt Distillery, and a spot of lunch in Mickey Finns.

10.30/11am Pick up in your area

12pm Premium Brewery Tour at Wicklow Brewery

1/1.30pm Lunch in Mickey Finns

3pm Premium Powerscourt Distillery Tour

4.30pm Depart for home

Covid-19 Measures:

Our tours have been custom-built to deliver a brewery and distillery tour with social distancing. As part of the measures we:

- Reduced the maximum number of people on board the coach.

- Require all passengers to wear a mask onboard - please bring one with you.

- Provide passengers Zoono 24 hour hand sanitiser upon boarding

- Coach fully sanitised prior to pickup

- Reduced tour capacity at Wicklow Brewery and Powerscourt Distillery. This may require a short waiting period between groups, depending on your tour group's size.

- Both venues have designed their tours to allow social distancing. For example, the Whiskey Tasting will now take place in a much larger room as the bar would be too intimate to allow the distancing required.

Wicklow Brewery Tour:

Brewery tours are for those who wish to learn more about The Wicklow Brewery and how we brew. Your guide will tell you all about the origins of the Wicklow Brewery and explain how we make our beers from the milling of the grain in the malt mill to the kegging at the end. Our tours are personal and up close. Sorry no high tech buttons to press or fancy digital effects, we offer just knowledge, humour and great taste.
